If women have been demure and shy in the past men also had their own problems regarding dating. Though the responsibility of asking a girl out lied with them they were not always able to do it successfully.
Some men are shy by nature so they cannot get enough courage to ask a girl. Some men are too eager and are rebuffed and often turn to online dating.

Till today it is the guy who asks a girl out.
So the responsibility of being presentable and getting her consent is very important. If the guy gets romantically interested in a girl apart from a casual date then it becomes more important to him.
If the girl refuses that means that she has no interest in him and his romantic notion comes to an end. Thus men too need a lot of training before they take the final step.
Internet has been quite a blessing for both men and women. Dating sites help many people to get a date of their choice without having to interact face to face. It’s only after they are sure about each other that they meet.
Other men who want to approach a girl but are not able to for various reasons can get tips or training from online dating sites giving useful advices for both men and women.
They act as a good training ground and one should practice them for sometime before approaching a girl.
Things like complementing a woman, being a perfect gentleman, having interesting things to tell her, are things which completely escape some men. These men would be better off being trained in dating before taking a girl out.
