Loopy Love is a decent UK dating site which although very solid in it’s approach, holds nothing that really sets it apart from other UK dating sites. That said, it does have a good range of singles available to contact and has a nice, easy-to-read layout for profiles.

Loopy Love has all the common features you would expect, search by geographical location, view by photo, the ability to block people and of course online chat. This means it is pretty average for a UK dating site, it is nothing amazing but there isn’t much wrong with it either.

Loopy Love also offers mobile dating, this allows you to contact matches viw your mobile phone, ideal for you if you spend a lot of time travelling. Another good feature of Loopy Love is that if gives you various guides on dating in different places around the UK.

For example there is advice on where to go on a dating in Nottingham, Birmingham, London and a great deal more locations. This makes it ideal if you have just moved to a new town and you do not yet have the knowledge on local dating hotspots.

One function I do like on Loopy Love is the ability to show your search results in order of who has been online the most recent. This is particularly useful as it can be very frustrating when you keep contacting people who have not logged in for months and are probably no longer looking for love.

Perhaps the best feature on Loopy Love is the ability to send out a ‘Loopy Lovebomb’ which basically means you can send a message to hundreds of singles that match your search settings. Although this is not the most targeted approach it can show you who is interested in you and occasionally helps you find a good match.

However, call me old school but I much prefer picking people myself. That way you can make your own decision about someone and you are not wasting their time as you are interested.

Summary:

Overall Loopy Love is a solid if unremarkable UK dating site. It does have some useful features such as the Lovebomb and the local UK City dating guides, however, it costs the same as my top rated site (see Dating Direct Review) and to be honest you get much more with Dating Direct.

Loopy Love is best suited to you if you have just moved to a new area and would find the local dating guides useful, otherwise I would suggest looking for a different dating site.
