Cupid.com Review
US Based site with big UK presence
Unlike some of the other dating sites I have reviewed on here, Cupid.com is actually a USA based dating site. However, they are included as they do have a big presence in the UK with plenty of UK members.
During my Cupid.com review I found that the site was easy to use and included all of the features you would expect to see on a popular dating site including chat rooms and member blogs.
It is a professionally run site that seems to have plenty of active members to talk to, however the exact number of members has not been revealed.

Cupid.com is run by a small team of about 25 people, it is not a dating site run my a major corporation. What this means is that you get a pretty good service when you need it and the cost is pretty reasonable starting at £6.99 a month.

What you get for this is similar to the services offered by some of the big name sites. For example you can wink at members before you make contact to see if they are interested.
You can see some of the members photos without having to subscribe but to see them enlarged or to see the full collection you do need to upload your own photo. As profiles with photos tend to get better responses it is a good motivation to get you active on the site.

Cupid.com has the same search functions as many other UK dating sites such as searching by location and who is online now.
You can also create friend lists so that you can easily find and contact those you have previously spoken to. The members homepage gives a great snapshot of what activity you have done and received such as how many people have winked at you or viewed your profile. You can also drill down to see who has actually viewed your profile.
This all comes together to make a good solid dating site. The downside is that because it is not a strictly UK based site there perhaps are not as many UK members to choose from as on other sites, however I found there were still enough to make it worth the subscription charge.

Overall the conclusion of my Cupid.com review is that it is a good site with many of the features other sites offer but with a lower price tag.
£6.99 a month is pretty low-cost for what you get, especially given the professional look and feel of the website. The customer support is pretty good if you need it due to the site being run by a small team rather than a large company.
There is also plenty of information about other members such as the date and time of their last login. This helps to ensure you do not waste your time contacting inactive members. Cupid.com is probably one of the best dating sites you can get full access to for less than £7 a month and therefore gets a thumbs up from me.
